It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Glenn Elwyn Irby of Concord, Virginia, who passed away on April 28, 2025, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Terrence E. Irby and Rebecca H. "Becky" Irby of Gladys; and his siblings, Dora Lee Irby and William "Billy" Zachary Irby. He is survived by: his wife Mary Morrison Irby; his son Nathaniel Z. Irby (Ashley); his grandchildren, Miley of Appomattox, Ryder of Appomattox and Colson of Appomattox; his daughter Kelly Espenscheid (Derek); his grandchildren, Collin of South Carolina, Karleigh of South Carolina, Kimber of South Carolina, Kamryn of South Carolina, Danlen of South Carolina, Phillip of South Carolina, Keigan of South Carolina, Rowick of South Carolina and Quinn of South Carolina; and his brothers, Joey Irby of Gladys and Johnny Irby of Danville. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
