It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marvin O. Ledbetter of Concord, Virginia, who passed away on July 27, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Marvin O. Ledbetter to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Ernest and Vera Hill Ledbetter; his former wife Vivian Trent Ledbetter; and his siblings, J. C. Ledbetter, Dovie Smith, Alta Varner, Avis Scissom, Mary Mandell, Marlon Ledbetter and Jerry Ledbetter.
He is survived by: his wife Peggy Keys Ledbetter; his children, Regina Ann Moorman (Lester), Leonard Keys (Barbara), Susan Barringer (Kevin) and John Keys (Donna); his sister Audrey McCormack (Paul); his sister-in-law Joan Ledbetter; his grandchildren, Jennifer Kershner (William), Brandy Moorman, Barrett Moorman (Jessica), Jennifer Harris (Justin), Jason Barringer (Tiffany), Brandon Keys (Kait), Stefani Martin (Matt), Cody Keys, Allen Keys, Michael Keys and Robbie Ward; and his great grandchildren, Lily, Khloe, Jacob, Mady, Gage, Huntley, Oakley, Ethan, Noah, Jackson, Joel, Adelaide, Hampton, Abel and Eliza.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Heritage Funeral Service and Crematory (427 Graves Mill Rd, Lynchburg, VA 24502). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. The military honors will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 at the American Legion Post 16 (1301 Greenview Dr, Lynchburg, VA 24502).
