He was predeceased by : his parents, Julia Fielder Torrence and Robert Elwood "Nice" Torrence, Sr.; and his children, Sarah Torrence and Timothy Torrence. He is survived by : his wife Mary Martin Torrence; his sons, Matthew Torrence (Charity) of Concord, Jonathan Torrence (Holly) of Concord and Nathan Torrence (Sarah) of Concord; his siblings, Woody Torrence (Nancy), Victor Torrence (Wanda) and Lois Phillips (Sam); and his grandchildren, Adam, Tyler, Summer, Ahna, Lilly, Elam, Carter, Hope, Ella, Lincoln and Piper.
