The memory of Shannon Davis Martin of Concord, Virginia, who passed away on October 3, 2025 at the age of 51, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her father James Riley "Jimmy" Davis, Jr.. She is survived by: her mother Margaret Richardson Davis of Pamplin; her son Kurt Martin (Taylor); her grandchild Layney Gray Martin; her daughter Katy Martin; her brothers, Jamie Davis (Heather) and Daniel Davis (Amy); and her aunts and uncles, Rachel (Wayne Lee), Brenda Brisentine, Shirley (Ralph Cheatham), Henry (Shirley Richardson), David (Betty Richardson), Willie (Wendy Richardson), Carolyn Richardson, Brenda Richardson and Pat (Odell Smith). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the Robinson Funeral Home (667 Court St, Appomattox, VA 24522). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Piney Ridge United Methodist Church (1551 Piney Ridge Rd, Pamplin, VA 23958).
