It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Hiser (Concord, Virginia), who passed away on July 25, 2025, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Shirley Hiser to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Curtis Harris and Ellen Harris; and her siblings, Dorothy H. Millner, Alton Harris and Eugene Harris.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Jeffery Rosser (Samantha), David Rosser (Madeline), Matthew Rosser (Jessica), Hilary Creasey (Austin), Meredith Dobyns, Shane Dobyns and Sigrid Hiser; her sisters, Janie Cousins, Carol Nadine Pulliam, Barbara Austin and Gladys Harris; and her cousins, Glenda Fishpaw and Winfred Lee Doss. She is also survived by sixteen great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the New Concord Presbyterian Church (5588 New Chapel Rd, Concord, VA 24538).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association in Shirley's memory.
