It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bernard W Pittman of Courtland, Virginia, who passed away on August 16, 2025, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Bernard shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Bernard farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Thomas "Tommy" Pittman, Jr. and Frances Gillette Pittman; and his brothers, Hugh Gillette Pittman and John Francis Pittman. He is survived by: his wife Linda Whitehead Pittman; his children, William Dudley Pittman, Wilmer Ryan Pittman (Amanda) and Peyton Leigh Pittman Scott (Clay); his grandson Thomas James Pittman; and his brother W. T. "Bill" Pittman, III (April). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
