We are sad to announce that on April 11, 2025, at the age of 85, Jerry Hewett of Courtland, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Hewett and Carrie Hewett; his daughter Melissa Lynn Hewett; and his siblings, Charles, Vol Therman "Shorty", Alfred "Cubie", Arlene Crowl and Shula Hewett.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Ward Hewett; his son Chris Hewett (Renae); his grandchildren, Faith White (Lee) and Jordan Hewett (Rebekah); his daughter Bontá Cunningham (Fred); his siblings, Shirley Thompson, Joey Hewett and Johnny Hewett (Linda); and his siblings-in-law, Phil Ward, Rusty Ward, Lloyd Canady and Betty Friesland.
The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service and suggests memorial donations be made to Beaver Dam Baptist Church General Fund.
