He was predeceased by: his wife Anna Elizabeth Watson Andrews (Beth); his parents, Thomas Massie Andrews and Hattie Peters Andrews; his daughter Barbara Allyson Andrews; and his siblings, Nellie Andrews Buchanan (David) and Mitchell Andrews.
He is survived by: his son Butch Andrews (Cricket) of Covington; his grandchildren, Shannon Andrews Holloway (Chris) of Covington and Patrick Hershel Andrews of Covington; his great grandchildren, Christen Elizabeth Holloway, Maleah Kaylynn Holloway and Brett Hershel Andrews; his brother Larry Andrews of Covington; and his sisters-in-law, Carol Baker Andrews of Covington and Sandra Mays Watson of Covington. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the Loving Funeral Home (350 N Maple Ave, Covington, VA 24426). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Chapel of Loving Funeral Home (350 N Maple Ave, Covington, VA 24426).
