Allen Clarkson Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Allen Clarkson (Covington, Virginia), born in Clifton, Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 9, 2025 at the age of 88. He was predeceased by: his wife Jean Nicely Clarkson; and his siblings, Irene Craft, Vera Crawford, Raymond, Lloyd and Elden Clarkson.

He is survived by: his sons, Bruce Stephen Clarkson (Carolyn) of Greensboro and Carl Franklin Clarkson (Nancy) of Fincastle, Virginia; his stepsons, Randy Nicely, Kevin Nicely of Charleston and David Nicely (Jamie) of Orlando; his grandchildren, Bruce Clarkson (Tony), Erica Clarkson Loudermilk, Kara Vellines, Megan Fridley, Ian Nicely, Josh Nicely, Megan Nicely, Ashley Nicely, Reagan Nicely, Sophia Nicely and Colleen Huck; and his great grandchildren, Nathaniel Clarkson, Sarah Loudermilk, Adam Loudermilk, Gavin Vellines, Ava Vellines, Carter Altice, Weston Altice, Rian Fridley and Joey-Kate Fridley. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
