It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Audrey Elizabeth Mack (Covington, Virginia), born in Richmond, Virginia, who passed away on May 12, 2023, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her mother Virginia Hayes; her husband Lawrence Mack; her children, Roland Switzerland Mack, Sr. and Marjorie Dethenia Brown; her granddaughter Shante Mack; and her close friend Peggy Hughes.

She is survived by: her son Eric Fredric Mack; her grandchildren, Aric Mack (Renee), Roland Mack, Jr., Shatory Brown, Shaquon Brown, Kathleen Tedford, Latoya Frizell and Marcus Jordan; her cousins, Lester Jeter and Cheryl Hayes Lewis; and her close friends, Betty Quarles Carter, Deaconess Helen Holloway and Deaconess Macelia Hunter. She is also survived by many great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great-nephews.
