He is survived by: his wife Elta McCray Chittum of Covington; his sons, Charles Chittum of Covington and Barry Chittum, Jr. of Covington; and his siblings, Rita DeGuzman (Robert) of Covington, Janet Kidd (Billy) of Covington, Jean Shinault of Covington and John Chittum (Anna) of Covington. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
