He was predeceased by : his parents, Benjamin Ballard Rothwell and Shirley Dame Rothwell; his daughter Michelle Gibson; and his brothers, David Wayne Rothwell and Samuel Neil Rothwell.
He is survived by : his spouse Sandy Holestin Rothwell; his children, David Gibson of Covington, Adam Gibson of Covington, Jason Rothwell of Danville, Zach Rothwell of Danville and Misty York of Ashboro, NC; his siblings, Stephen B. Rothwell of Covington and Linda R. Arritt (Chipper) of Covington; his aunt Nancy Dame; his nephews, Matt Rothwell, Eric Rothwell and Josh Arritt; and his niece Emily Arritt. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren.
