We are sad to announce that, on March 7, 2023, at the age of 84, Carolyn Phillips of Covington, Virginia, born in Wyoming, West Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Ronnie Oris Phillips; her parents, Melvin Lambert and Gay Cook Lambert; her siblings, Warren Lambert, Harry Lambert, Guy Lambert, Frances Belcher and Ruth Bazi; and her friend Barbara Harper Simpson.
She is survived by: her daughter Rhonda S. Phillips (William Bowles); her nieces, Connie Willey and Stephanie Willey Elkins; her nephew Corey Lambert; her cousins, Carlos Angell and Tess Angell; her sisters-in-law, Judy Mann, Jenny Angell and Glenna Shull; her friends, Angelia Bryant and Charles Huddleston; Tracy Kessinger, Lisa Milam, Judy Beavers and Mandy Hedgecough. She is also survived by numerous family members and friends.
The family suggests that any memorial tributes take the form of donations to First Christian Church, 231 E. Fudge Street, Covington, VA 24426.
