He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Curtin and Janie Pullen Curtin. He is survived by: his wife Norma O'Conner Curtin; his daughter Janie Curtin Tyree (Dwain); his grandchildren, Tara Saylor Uzzell (Tyson) of Covington, Charity Tyree Hale (Nathan) of Covington, Callie Uzzell, Kinley Uzzell, Mason Hale, Maddox Hale and Mallory Hale; and his sister-in-law Martha O'Conner Wilhelm of Daleville. He is also survived by eight nieces and nephews; and numerous special friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 20th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the McCallister Memorial Presbyterian Church. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, July 20th 2025 at 3:30 PM at the same location.
The family suggests that memorial tributes take the form of contributions to McCallister Memorial Presbyterian Church, 900 N. Alleghany Avenue, Covington, VA 24426.
