It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Harvey Smith (Covington, Virginia), who passed away on December 10, 2021, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Harvey and Violet Humphries Smith; and his siblings, Russ, Ruby Jane Jones, Edward Wayne Smith, Russell Eugene Smith, Robert Lee Smith and Donald Ray Persinger.
He is survived by: his daughter Angel Tucker (David); his grandchildren, Haylee Tucker, Dawson Tucker of Covington and Emma Smith of New Bern, NC; his siblings, Nancy Colman of Covington, Susan Scruggs of Clifton Forge and Jerry Smith (Mary) of Clifton Forge; and his pet Daisy. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
