Christine leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Christine’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. Though she is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support she offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Christine will carry forward her memory in their hearts.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: husband: Fernando J. Lopez; sons: Stephen Lopez (Samantha) and Justin Nicely; brothers: Danny Shiflett (Andrea) and Haley Shiflett (Jennifer); step sons: Patrick Lopez and Scott Lopez; granddaughter: Sylvie Elizabeth Nicely; sisters: Tammie Byer; nieces: Pam Zaremba (Scott) and Dr. Sherri Shiflett; nephew: Spencer Shiflett; other: Cindy Sams, Kathy Brown, Tracie Fridley, Pastor Brandon Nicely; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 27th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Victory Baptist Church (1600 Main St, Clifton Forge, VA 24422). A memorial service will be held on Sunday, September 27th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
