It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Claude Burdette Tucker of Covington, Virginia, who passed away on August 8, 2022, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his wife Goldie Bogar Tucker; his parents, Calvin Tucker and Mamie Tucker; and his siblings, Ransom Tucker, Pearl Salyers and Frances Caldwell.

He is survived by : his sons, Chris Dean Tucker (Missy) and Terry Todd Tucker; his grandchildren, Wyatt Tucker, Zachery Tucker and Morgan Myers; and his caregivers, Kaye and Don. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

The family suggests that memorial tributes take the form of contributions to the Alleghany Humane Society, 9313 Rich Patch Road, Covington, VA 24426.
