He was predeceased by: his parents, William Abraham and Cora Persinger. He is survived by: his children, Doris Childs of Covington, Bobbie Persinger of Covington, Ronda Smith of Roanoke, Richard (JoAnne Persinger), Dennis (Julie Persinger) and Clifford Persinger Jr. (Terry) of Clifton Forge; and his caregivers, Brenda Bogar and Jeanette Buchanan. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren.
The family suggests memorial donations be made in Mr. Persinger's name to the Simmons Cemetery Association Fund at 691 Riverview Lane Clifton Forge, VA 24422.
