He was predeceased by: his parents, Noah Brown Bowles, Sr. and Evelyn Ward Bowles; his siblings, Noah Brown Bowles, Jr. and Shirley Law; and his nephew Richard Law.
He is survived by: his children, Jenny Taylor (Greg) of Covington, Curtis Bowles, Jr. of Covington and Shelly Fridley of Covington; and his close friends, Sharon Kirk and Billy Craft. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and many other family members.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 30th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM and at 10:00 PM at the Arritt Funeral Home (1102 S Highland Ave, Covington, VA 24426). A funeral service was held on Friday, May 1st 2026 at 2:00 PM and at 6:00 PM. A burial was held on Friday, May 1st 2026 at the Lonestar Cemetery (6102 Potts Creek Rd, Covington, VA 24426).
