He is survived by: his wife Shirley Lawhorn; his children, Dwaine Lawhorn (Carol) of South Carolina and Lea Smith (Gary Smith, Jr.) of Covington; his grandchildren, Sierra Meade (Levi), Dakota Smith, Travis Smith, Hunter Smith (Ashlyn) and Jason Lawhorn; his great grandchild Addison Smith; and his brother Larry Lawhorn (Liz) of Virginia Beach. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
