With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Doris Hagedon (Covington, Virginia), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Doris left this world on July 1, 2025 at the age of 102, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Mandt Roy Hanson and Anna Peterson Hanson; her husband George Hagedon; her brother Arvey Hanson; her son Shawn; and her grandson Christopher.

She is survived by: her children, Signe and Sam; and her sister Marilyn Hanson (Calif) of Watsonville. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.

“We send our deepest condolences to Signy, Sam, and to all of their beautiful extended family members concerning the loss of their loving mentor and matriarch, Doris Marcelle Hanson-Hagedon. She was my loving aunt, and the oldest living member of the Hagedon family. She was a blessing to all that knew her, and will she be missed by many, many people, but we can all take some comfort in knowing that she now walks with our Heavenly Father.
