With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Evelyn Rucker (Covington, Virginia), who passed away on March 23, 2026 at the age of 64. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Johnnie R. Furry and Donnalee W. Furry of Greenbrier Co; and her siblings, Katherine Richmond of Lewisburg, WV, Brenda Phillips and Johnnie Furry of Greenbrier Co.
She is survived by: her husband Kenneth C. Rucker; her children, Jeremy Rucker and Amanda Campbell; her grandsons, Cody Elmore and Ethan Elmore; and her sisters, Bertha Pritt (Ricky) of Covington, Norma Lomasey of Hot Springs, VA, Darlis Carver of Lewisburg, WV, Dyanna Furry and Shelby Pyle of Renick. She is also survived by Five nephews, two nieces, five great nephews and six great nieces.
