It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gary Clark Grimes (Covington, Virginia), who passed away on November 28, 2022, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Hubert Grimes and Verna Alice Fertig Grimes; and his son Benjamin H. Grimes. He is survived by: his children, Brian Grimes (Staci Morehead) and Carla Harrah (Larry); and his grandchildren, Amber Grimes, Ryan Young, Jacob Grimes (Meagan), Katelynn Grimes, Samuel Brookman and Sean Streng. He is also survived by thirteen great grandchildren; a daughter in law.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made in Mr. Grimes' name to the Temple Baptist Church at 610 E. Madison St. Covington, VA 24426.
