She was predeceased by: her parents, George Chittum and Allena Montgomery Chittum; her husband Donald F. Shinault; her son Justin Shinault; and her brother Barry Chittum.
She is survived by: her children, Patricia Hunter of Covington, Donnie Shinault (Lisa) of Covington and Dale Shinault (Angela) of Winston Salem, NC.; and her siblings, Rita Deguzman (Robert) of Covington, Janet Kidd (Billy) of Covington and John Chittum of Covington. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren.
