He was predeceased by: his parents, Wynona Walthall Hawkins Crush and Jesse James "Jim" Hawkins, Jr.; his stepfather Robert Crush; and his brother Gary W. Hawkins. He is survived by: his sisters, Diedre Massey Hawkins and Lisa K. Hawkins; his stepsister Elizabeth A. Crush; and his nieces, Melissa Martin Merchant, Danielle Hawkins Goggins and Deena Hawkins Smith. He is also survived by several cousins, extended family members and friends.
