He was predeceased by: his wife Donna Rose (Rose); his parents, Frank D Johnson, Sr. and Sallie; his siblings, Frank D Johnson Jr. (Juanita), Maurice L Johnson (Elizabeth), Mary Frances Halterman (Bedford) and Elizabeth Reyns (Robert); and his niece Cynthia Halterman Turner.
He is survived by: his daughter Beverly G Johnson (Lindsey). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his honor to any of the following: Alleghany Humane Society, Alleghany Arts Council, Men of Mission or any Veterans program.
