With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James Lewis Jr. (Covington, Virginia), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 5, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his mother Brenda Lewis; his grandparents, Pearl Hughson and Willie Hoe; his stepmother Janice Lewis; his stepbrother Michael Vaughn; and his cousin Otis Marshall.
He is survived by: his significant other Crystal Lewis; his children, Natasha, Jordan Garrett, Nneka and Heather Taylor; his father James "Jimmy" Lewis Sr.; his siblings, Andrew Lewis and Alease Lewis; his nibling Ashley; and his stepsisters, Rhonda DeJesus, Ianthia Tillman, Gina Smith and Robyn Brown. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins & numerous good friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family warmly welcomes contributions to assist with funeral expenses during this difficult time.
