He was predeceased by : his spouse Shirley Ann Linkenhoker Pullin; his parents, Jesse Edward Pullin, Sr. and Mattie Ailstock Pullin; and his siblings, William Kenneth Pullin, Hilda Wright and Helen Worley.

He is survived by : his children, Michael "Mike" Pullin (Donna) and Teresa "Teri" Sowards (Steve). He is also survived by six grandchildren; seven great grandsons; three great granddaughters; and a number of nieces and nephews.
