He was predeceased by: his parents, James Edward Faidley, Sr. and Margaret Homer Faidley; his half-sister Sondra Hover Fullmer; and his nephew David Fullmer. He is survived by: his wife Marlene Reynolds Faidley; his son Byron Edward Faidley (Mackenzie Brooks); his nieces, Kathy Sparks and Christine Scheffler; Marcy Thompson.
In lieu of any food or flowers, the family suggests that memorial tributes be made to McAllister Memorial Presbyterian Church, the Alleghany Humane Society, or the Chesapeake and Ohio Railway Historical Society.
