She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Daniel Gibson, Jr. and Lyndall Grace Bostic Gibson; her sister Deborah Lynne Gibson Simmons; and her pet Agassi. She is survived by: her pets, Brady and Max; her siblings, Richard Daniel Gibson, III (Emma) of Covington and Barbara Ann Gibson Preast (J. D.) of Fayetteville, WV; and her caregiver Toni Rhodenizer. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Chapel of Loving Funeral Home (350 N Maple Ave, Covington, VA 24426). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
The family suggests in lieu of flowers that memorial tributes take the form of contributions to the Alleghany Humane Society, 9313 Rich Patch Road, Covington, VA 24426.
