She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Smith and Rosa Shoemaker Smith. She is survived by: her husband Ronald W. Cale of Covington; her children, Cheryl Cale, Kerry Weade, Chipper Cale of Covington and Matthew Cale of Covington; and her siblings, Janice McClintic of Salem, Janet Holcomb of Fincastle, Raymond Smith and Roger Smith of Christiansburg. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
The family suggests memorial contributions in Mrs. Cale's name be made to the Alleghany Humane Society at 9313 Rich Patch Rd. Covington, VA 24426.
