He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Johnson Rose, Sr. and Marion Fairburn Rose; his grandparents, Clarence and Buelah Fairburn; his daughter Amy Marie Rose; his sister Jean Rose; and his nephew Joseph "Shorty" Rose.
He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Ann Rose Rose; his daughters, Tammra Leigh Rose Bennett (Ronnie) and Kimberly Ann Rose May (Tom); his grandchildren, David M. Thomas, III (Parris), Abby Rose Thomas, Christa Marie Thomas, Blake Johnson Rose, Brandi Marie Wolfe (Ryan) and Heather Renee Abalos (Mike); his great grandchildren, Colton Jameson Abalos, Maddox Wyatt Wolfe, Gage Bennett Wolfe, Declan Rhys Wolfe, River Griffith, Davin Mitchell Thomas and Alaina Parris Thomas; and his brother Joseph Rose. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
