Lillian Hall Wood Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lillian Hall Wood (Covington, Virginia), who passed away on February 8, 2020, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles P. Hall and Letcher Love Hall; and her husband Emmett Winston Wood. She is survived by: her son Eugene W. Hinton, Jr. (Sue Ellen) of Covington; her stepson Larry E. Wood (Brenda) of Roanoke; her siblings, Bernice Crawford, Charles "Jiggs" Hall of Cllifton Forge and Richard A. Hall of Cllifton Forge; her niece Wanda Engleman (Dickie); and her close friends, Wayne, Dreama Ogden, Randy and Bonnie Canterbury. She is also survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.

The family suggests that donations in her name be made to McAllister Memorial Presbyterian Church; 900 North Alleghany Avenue; Covington, VA 24426.
