It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lula Bowen of Covington, Virginia, who passed away on November 11, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Lula Bowen to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Samuel J. Wright and Zetta Wright; her husband James Lee Bowen; and her children, Pamela Tucker, Terry Bowen, Sammy Nelson and Danny Nelson.

She is survived by : her children, Carol Bush of Covington, Libby Day of Covington, Zettie Fisher of Florida and Jonah Bowen of West Virginia. She is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
