It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Melvin Eugene Munsey (Covington, Virginia), who passed away on January 10, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Hoyt Munsey, Sr. and Lola Martin Munsey; and his brothers, Jack Munsey and Bill Munsey. He is survived by: his wife Mary Davis Munsey; and his children, Kenneth D. Munsey (Kathy), Deanna L. Bratcher (Bob) and Linda G. Munsey (Tim Galford).

The family suggests that memorial tributes take the form of contributions to Hospice of the Shenandoah, P.O. Box 1000 Fishersville VA 22939.
