We are sad to announce that, on April 24, 2023, at the age of 92, Melvin Franklin Sellers Sr. of Covington, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Patricia Ann Benson Sellers; his parents, Everett Sellers and Mary Plott Sellers; and his grandsons, Wyatt James Lee, Alexander Mitchell Sellers and Ethan Clifford Sellers.
He is survived by: his sons, Melvin Franklin Sellers, Jr. of Staunton and Charles Mitchell Sellers (Marva) of Covington; his grandchildren, Brandon Sellers (Ruby), Kristin Lee, Ethan Sellers (Erin) and Haden Sellers; his great grandchildren, Morgan Sellers, Sandy Lee, Madison Lee and Warren Franklin Sellers; and his sisters, Ruth S. Bledsoe of Clarksville, TN and Janice Pence of Covington. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
The family suggests that memorial tributes take the form of contributions to Millboro Christian Church, 82 T C Walker Rd, Millboro, VA 24460.
