He is survived by: his parents, Marvin Persinger and Mae Ailstock Persinger of Cloverdale; his children, Megan Nicely (Evan) of Covington and Adam Persinger of Lexington; his granddaughter Ella Rose Nicely; his sister Susan Howell of Daleville; his parents-in-law, Lewis "Butch" and Lana Kemper of Covington; and his niece Bailey Howell.
