She was predeceased by: her parents, Alvin Rock Persinger and Dorothy Peters Persinger; and her son Jay Phillips. She is survived by: her daughter Jan Armontrout (Charles) of Covington; and her grandchildren, Lisa Warren Brown (Billy), R. J. Warren (Christy) and Loveda Warren.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Chapel of Loving Funeral Home (350 N Maple Ave, Covington, VA 24426). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
