She was predeceased by: her parents, Jessie McDaniel Terry and Franklin E. Terry; her brother Joseph Terry; and her husband Robert L. Sams. She is survived by: her sons, Patrick (Donna) and Michael (Cindy); and her grandchildren, Matthew, Jason and Suni. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
