It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Patricia Marie Bowen of Covington, Virginia, who passed away on December 30, 2022, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Richard Frank "Hickory" Bowen; and her parents, Daniel Rubin Brackenrich and Lucille Mae Wirt. She is survived by: her children, McKenzie Lee Bowen (Katie) of Eagle Rock and April Dawn Bowen (Willie Campbell) of Covington; her grandchildren, Isabella Marie Sparks, Lexie Iona-Ann Sparks, Ethan Thomas Campbell, Josh Bryant, Madison Mills (Chase) and Maggie Mace; her siblings, Michael R. Brackenridge of Hematite, Penelope Angel of Winchester and Barbara Hoke of Hematite; and her sister-in-law Bertha Hosey. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
