We are sad to announce that, on August 16, 2022, at the age of 86, Patricia Mae Whitmer of Covington, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Snead and Blanche Jordan Snead. She is survived by: her husband Larry Allen Whitmer; her children, Charles "Woody" Whitmer (Kim) of Yorktown, Gary Whitmer of Covington, Alan Whitmer of Covington, Robbie Horn (Jeff) of Covington and Jackie Baker (Jeff) of Covington; and her siblings, Ralph Snead (Patsy) of Covington, Mickey Rhodenizer (Bo) of Roanoke, Nancy Church of Ronceverte, WV and Betty Fitzgerald of Covington. She is also survived by six grandchildren; ten great grandchildren.

The family suggests that memorial tributes take the form of contributions to McAllister Memorial Presbyterian Church Youth Program, 900 N. Alleghany Avenue, Covington, VA 24426.
