She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth Hosey and Mary Bowan Hosey; her parents-in-law, Haven and Ada Tucker; and her siblings, Isabel, Lithia, Teresa Hosey, Edith May, Christine Irvine, Mike and George Hosey.
She is survived by: her husband Darrel W. Tucker of Covington; her children, Crystal T. Marsh of Covington and Darrel E. Tucker (Amanda) of Covington; her grandchildren, Kenny Tucker (Zoay) and Ryan H. Tucker; her pet Rascal; her grandchild Skylar Nicolas; her stepgrandson Easton Lane; and her in-laws, Linda Kress of Covington, Wendell Cooter of Covington, Keith Hosey, Darlene, Becky, Patsy Hosey (Richard) of Covington and Virginia Tucker of Clifton Forge. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held on Sunday, June 28th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Lone Star Cemetery (6102 Potts Creek Rd, Covington, VA 24426). Visitation was held on Sunday, June 28th 2026 at 4:00 PM at the Arritt Funeral Home (1102 S Highland Ave, Covington, VA 24426). A funeral service was held on Sunday, June 28th 2026 at 6:00 PM at the Lone Star Cemetery (6102 Potts Creek Rd, Covington, VA 24426).
The family suggest that in lieu of flowers to make donations in Pearl Hosey Tucker's name to Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Post 1033, 710 E. Dolly Ann Drive, Covington, VA 24426 ad Toys for Tots, Marine Corps.
