With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rachel Ann Gilpin of Covington, Virginia, born in Hinton, West Virginia, who passed away on February 3, 2023 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Gary Francis "George" Gilpin; her parents, John Harvey Richmond and Martha Fox Richmond; and her daughter Angela Gilpin. She is survived by: her daughter Lisa Huffman (Dennis) of Covington; and her sister Virginia Ruth "Jenny" Angell of Covington. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
The family suggests that memorial tributes take the form of contributions to the First Church of Nazarene, C/O Donna Wiseman, 336 E. Parrish Street, Covington, VA 24426.
