He was predeceased by: his parents, Vadis Armentrout and Madeline "Maggie" Tingler Armentrout Simmons; his brother Ernest Armentrout, Sr.; his aunt Arletta Griffith; and his niece Carly Simmons.
He is survived by: his brother Ricky Simmons (Devin); his stepfather Robert Simmons (Margaret) of Covington; his sibling's children, Amanda Silman (Matt) of Hot Springs, Courtney Simmons of Covington, Wade Armentrout of Covington and Cam Simmons of Covington; and his pet Tyke. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, and cousins; and his special.
