We are sad to announce that on May 18, 2025, at the age of 57, Richard Gibson of Covington, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Richard is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. He is survived by: his parents, Larry Gibson and Karen Munsey Gibson; his wife Edna Keith Gibson; his children, Alex Gibson (Dorothy) of Covington and Rachel Gibson of Roanoke; his granddaughter Charlotte Gibson; his brother Michael Gibson (Becky) of Buchanan; and his nephew Gabe Gibson (Rachel Mcel Downey).
