He was predeceased by: his parents, James W. Miller and Bonnie Baker Miller; his former wife Virgie Smith Miller; his son Ronnie Eugene Sorrells; his stepdaughter Barbara Harmon; and his siblings, Hallie Miller Dressler, Harry Miller, Earl Miller and Gerald Miller.
He is survived by: his wife Dreama Jones Miller; his daughter Sandra Oyler (Dale) of Covington; his stepdaughter Shannon Newkirk (Greg) of Atlanta, GA; his granddaughters, Kelly Oyler Helmintoller (R. J.) of Covington, Stacy Oyler Holbrook (Bryan) of Mount Holly, NC and Emily Oyler (Logan Holley) of Charlottesville; his stepgranddaughter Taylor Hammons of Memphis, TN; his great grandchild Addison Rian Helmintoller of Covington; his brother Freddie Miller (Carol) of Hurricane, WV; and his sister-in-law Shirley Miller of Georgia. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
