Saundra Fornwalt Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Saundra Fornwalt of Covington, Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 4, 2026 at the age of 90. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Saundra Fornwalt to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank C. Hite and Frances Roddy Hite; her husband Charles Fornwalt (Chet); her son-in-law Michael "Spud" Slayton; and her sister Betty Lou Watson.
She is survived by: her children, Charles Allen Fornwalt, II (Robin), Laura Slayton Kyle (Lee), Amy Jo Blake (Tim) and Ruth Elizabeth Craft (Larry); her grandchildren, Sarah Oldendorf (Ken), Emily Gherman (Thomas), Jonathan Craft (Amanda), Benjamin Craft, Cassie Bartocci (Greg), Catherine Seay (Tanner), Rebekah Burns (Austin) and Isaac Blake; and her stepgrandson Adam Kyle (Hannah). She is also survived by twelve great grandchildren; three step great grandchildren; a number of nieces and nephews.
