She was predeceased by: her husband Bobby Dower Gibson; her parents, Earl M. Guth and Margaret Ann Crawford Guth; and her siblings, Garnett Guth, Rosemary Aber, Betty Humphries and Lillian Rose.
She is survived by: her children, Robert Allen Gibson (Portia) of Rockingham and Margaret Gibson Martin (Robby) of Jeffersonton; her grandchildren, Taylar, Alex, Bradley, Rachel, Erin, Asher and Kendall; her siblings, Jim Guth (Laura) of Covington and Alice Guth Unroe of Winchester; her niece Meredith Simpson; and her friends, John and Dana.
The family suggests that memorial tributes take the form of contributions to Edgemont Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church, 2306 S. Church Avenue, Covington, VA 24426.
