It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Milton Humphreys of Covington, Virginia, born in Hillsboro, West Virginia, who passed away on June 23, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Young Humphreys and Patricia Rock Humphreys; and his brother Donald Humphreys. He is survived by: his wife Allie Bradley Humphreys; his sons, William Milton "Tony" Humphreys, Jr. of Newport News, Terry Alan Humphreys (Lorrie) of Covington and Robert Edward McFadden of Covington; his grandchildren, Benton McCormick (Allison) of Covington, Danielle Walker (Josh) of Enterprise, AL, Samantha McCormick of Covington and Amber Seith (Mark) of Roanoke; and his sister Lillian Jane (Humphreys). He is also survived by eight great grandchildren.
The family suggests that memorial tributes take the form of contributions to Edgemont Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church, 2306 S. Church Avenue, Covington, VA 24426.
