He was predeceased by: his parents, William Allen Lipes, Sr. and Faye Wright Lipes; his son William Allen Lipes, III; and his siblings, Donnie Lipes, Warren Ray Lipes and Mary Kelly.
He is survived by: his fiancé Kristal Maloney of Covington; his children, Michelle Lipes Angle (Bobby) of Rich Patch, Kathy Lipes Hiner (Shane) of Covington and Justice Maloney (Lizzy); his grandchildren, Justin Lipes, Brandon Lipes, Ashley Ambrose, Kolby Hiner, Dakota Lipes and Shane "Bubba" Hiner; his great grandchildren, Noah Lipes, Jackson Lipes, Annastasia Ambrose and Dakota Ambrose; and his sisters, Marie Carter of Hematite, Brenda Bennett of Falling Spring and Patty Tucker of Covington.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial tributes take the form of donations to Connections Plus Hospice, 315 Myers Street , Lexington VA 24450.
